kia ora

Kia Ora means welcome in New Zealand, where we just spent the past three weeks.  We've got tons of pictures and stories to share and figured that a blog was the best way to do it.  We'll be posting just about every day until we make it through all of our memories from our trip.  After that, we will be using this blog as a way to keep our friends and family updated on all of our other adventures.

So to begin...

We left our home on the afternoon of November 20 and headed to the Sacramento airport.  We found out when we got there that all flights to San Francisco were 2 1/2 hours late, but we luckily made it to the airport just in time to get on an earlier flight and make it on time to our connecting flight to New Zealand!

The long flight overseas wasn't so bad because of the amazing selection of movies.  Nathan got to watch Inception, Kristin watched the Hannah Montana Movie for the 3rd time, and we both watched Despicable Me.  One of our favorite movies, however, is below.  It's only a minute long, so you need to check it out!

PS - Before you watch, you need to know how much New Zealanders love rugby. They love it.  A. Lot.  Their national rugby team are the biggest celebrities in the nation and are called All Black.

  1. That's hilarious. What cracks me up is they put all the credits at the end!
