nz south island recap and white water rafting

And now...before we leave the South Island, we thought we'd do a little recap.

We started in Queenstown, where we did a little white water rafting.  Kristin is sitting in the back left (next to the guide) and Nathan is right in front of her.

This was a fun group of people to go rafting with. :-)

From Queenstown, we headed to Mt. Cook for some gorgeous hiking.  The rest of these pictures are actually pictures of postcards we sent our families.

From Mt. Cook, we made our way to Christchurch.  We liked this postcard of the cathedral at night.

From Christchurch, we took a train across to the west coast of the island, drove back to the east coast, spent three days tramping and kayaking through Abel Tasman, and then did some laundry.

Oh yeah...and we saw some sheep.

North Island adventures coming soon!
