Rebekah giving us "the eye". She does this often, just to let us know what she thinks about things like getting her diaper changed, taking a bath, and being put in her car seat. :)
So....big news. We bought a house!!!

We had started looking for a house in November and finally found "the one" in January (Nathan wanted to start looking next summer, but Kristin got excited). It's technically in the town of Little Elm, but it's only one block from Frisco and a fairly direct commute for Nathan. We were blessed with an awesome realtor (Kristin calls him "Mr. Bob") that helped us make the process a pleasant one.
We're getting the downstairs painted right now and look forward to decorating and making the place ours. It will be a long while before we actually make use of the whole house, though. We bought a house big enough to grow into as we expand our family. Right now, we don't even have enough furniture to furnish the first floor! We're going to be pretty much living on the first floor for the time being while we make plans to furnish the rest.
Last week, Kristin's family came up for a visit. Her dad, grandma, and sister came up during the weekends and her mom stayed for the full week to help out. It was such a wonderful blessing! Our freezer is now stocked with food, and we are much better rested. It was hard to see Kristin's mom go home.
While Kristin's sister was here, she took photos of Rebekah at two weeks. Here are some of our favorites!
